For those of you who are trying to have success with an MLM Facebook account but failing miserably, then this post is for you! There could be a number of different reasons for this.. I hope this isn’t one of them!  

Why people QUIT with MLM Facebook:

I believe basically there are four main reasons why people fail in using their MLM Facebook account to generate leads for their business:

1. Their MLM Facebook friends are not targeted.

Back in the early days of Myspace – friend adding software used to run rampant giving you the ability to add thousands of friends quickly and easily. I’m happy that this kind of abuse has stopped as that isn’t what these social sites are designed for anyway. You can still have great success with your MLM Facebook account by just adding a few friends here and there as you GENUINELY MEET THEM ONLINE AND GET TO KNOW THEM. Definitely check out web-sites such as http://www.betternetworker.com as it’s easy to meet like-minded Facebook friends there (you can add me as a friend there if you like, just click on the icon at the top of my blog). DON’T just add any Tom, Dick and Harry that you come across. Check out their profile first and see if they’re into wealth creation and personal development. I have noticed a lot of weird people who are not into network marketing hanging around Facebook. Don’t add them unless you know they’re into network marketing as these people will waste precious time.

2. Lack of consistency.

        Having a serious crack at an MLM facebook strategy is formulated around CONSISTENCY. You seriously need to do something EVERY DAY – whether that’s a blog post every day, or even an update, so that you are continually getting a message out there. As I mentioned in my last post about the amount of updates you should do with MLM facebook marketing – you need to be continually in front of your prospects as much as possible. 3. Not providing MASSIVE VALUE!

Are you providing AS MUCH VALUE as you possibly can in your updates and when you meet new friends on Facebook? How can you help your friends achieve success? This is where the law of reciprocity comes into play, and where most people fail with MLM facebook marketing. Set-up a blog and demonstrate your knowledge to your friends.

4. No strategy which equals NO FOCUS!

Without a daily method of operation (DMO), and no long term goals you won’t achieve success. You don’t know where you are headed, and you have nothing to gauge your progress. Facebook is designed to be DISTRACTING!.. there are people poking you, ads specifically targeted at you trying to grab your attention, and people asking you questions like ‘What are you doing?’ in those live chat bubbles. Without a daily plan of what you are setting out to do in Facebook for that day you will get way too easily sidetracked. Here is an example of a simple strategy you could start out with to protect yourself from those those nasty Facebook timewasters:

1. Write a new blog post.

2. Update the blog post out to your MLM facebook friends.

3. Update the blog into your group.

4. Update the blog into 2-3 other groups of network marketers.

By following a simple strategy such as this you will be sure to stay FOCUSED whenever you login to that distracting MLM facebook account of yours..
