Firstly before I give this cool Facebook backlinks strategy away (I should really charge for this) you need to fully understand what page rank is, and what it means.

A backlink (a link pointing to your site) is unbelievably powerful for your online marketing because Google looks at them when deciding how high it should rank your web-site in it’s rankings. The more backlinks your site has the better. The higher the page rank of those specific backlinks – is even better again. This is key in getting some insane traffic.

So in a nutshell – the more high page rank (PR) backlinks you have pointing to your site, the more traffic you will get… because Google is ranking you higher in it’s results. A PR 9 backlink is worth like thousands and thousands of PR 1 backlinks – so I hope that gives you some idea of the sheer power of what we’re talking about here.

Now, Facebook has an EXTREMELY HIGH page rank – but the trick is in knowing how to effectively get the good backlink. On Facebook there are certain parts of it which simply don’t count – such as Facebook groups for example. Google doesn’t count these in its rankings at all mainly because they can be quite spammy and often don’t hold much value.

So the trick in getting powerful Facebook backlinks lies in knowing where to put them… (drum roll please)…

Instructions for this simple but POWERFUL Facebook Backlinks Strategy..

OK, this is easy. Ready??…

It’s in your Facebook notes on either your Facebook profile or Facebook fan page. Notes are powerful because Google sees them as valuable because your backlinks are surrounded by content (most likely useful information).

Here’s what you’re going to do:

1. Write a blog post.

2. Copy and paste the exact same post from your blog to a Facebook note on your Facebook fan page or profile.

3. At the end of the post write “If you’d like to check out my blog CLICK HERE link”

4. Now this link is your powerful, super-duper backlink!! You’ll need to use this HTML code in the facebook note (very easy… don’t be afraid!) here:

<a href=http://www.lukeshavak.com/mlm-facebook/mlm-facebook-fail/>MLM Facebook</a>

In this example I’m going after the keywords – MLM Facebook. Make sure to add whatever your chosen keyword is in the anchor text of the post.

5. Hit ‘Save’ on the Facebook note and you now have yourself one mega-powerful backlink. Easy eh??

6. Now, if you backlink this Facebook note (backlink your backlink) with tools such as Article Marketing Robot or Tribe Pro as well – this will send the note very high in the search engine rankings very quickly and get you traffic FAST!
